High Noon Movie Poster

Problem:
I had to design to a poster that created impact and kept a consistent tone. I also did not want to overcrowd my poster with a bunch of actors. Because of this, I had very little to work with.

Solution:
One way I fixed this was using filters to create the feel of one of those old western movies. I used filters that created huge contrast from the light and the dark colors, and I used a oil paint filter to give it that hand drawn feel that old posters used to have. I used a font that resembled those old western films as well to keep that feel consistent with everything.

Results:
The people I showed this to were very positive about the design I had. Most of the criticism were very minor about the fonts, but overall most people enjoyed the design I came up with for the poster.
